The setting was magnificent, not far from the center of Blowing rock and the Blue Ridge parkway and Boone and Blowing Rock. Also, we were able to visit Bass Lake Loop, that was 3 miles from the hotel.

The location is marvellous and it is short walk to a wonderful stocked pond, the parkway and downtown blowing rock and nature. Also, the hotel is located 2 miles away from Thunder Hill Overlook. The room is nicely furnished, the people are calm and nice.

I had a warm and nicely furnished room with an exceptionally comfortable bed. The location was marvelous and fantastic - walking distance to everywhere I wanted to go. The venue had restful staff who made the stay really great.

That was truly exceptional and enchanting hotel set in local area, next to parkway, downtown and downtown Blowing Rock and grocery stores. The room we had included an iron with ironing board, a fireplace and a couch bed🙂

location: the hotel was just off the parkway and downtown blowing rock, nature and calmness and a beautiful area. the atmosphere created was family. the family room was spacious, i felt like at home.

We got 1 night in this truly exceptional and enchanting hotel, appreciated it. The location of this venue just next door to hiking, Boone and Blowing Rock, and Blowing Rock was great. Also, a Moses h. Cone mansion was 4 miles away from the property. Overall rooms were great-sized and fairly quiet and had an iron with ironing board, a fireplace, and a couch bed. The bed was exceptionally comfortable; and there was a tub.

We really enjoyed staying at Swiss Mountain Village in Blowing Rock. The hotel was truly exceptional and pleasant in the mountains. Our family room was equipped with central heating, multi-channel TV, and a microwave. It was a nice surprise to have a fully equipped kitchen. The location next to the stocked pond was marvelous. Additionally, being just 2 miles from Thunder Hill Overlook was a great advantage.
